International Roots and
Family Tradition
The history of F.R.A.T Srl has its roots in the travels and experiences of Vincenzo Treffiletti, the founder, who trained as a radiator technician in Argentina and Venezuela, where he worked for about 20 years. Returning to Italy in the 70s, he opened a radiator repair shop in Sicily, later bringing his experience to Milan with “Radiatori Treffiletti”, founded together with his sons.
In 1977, Francesco, the eldest son, returned to Sicily to found a business dedicated to the construction of radiators. After extensive research in Europe, he purchased the first equipment to start the production of radiant masses. In 1979, the construction of the current factory was completed, equipped with a modern production line. The company continued to grow, with an expansion of the market towards the supply of components both for original equipment and as spare parts.
THE GENERATIONAL PASSAGE
In 2021, the company passed to the third generation with Renzo and Valerio, Francesco’s sons. With their leadership, FRAT Srl aims to consolidate its position, expanding and introducing new technologies to meet the challenges of an ever-changing market.
FRAT Srl is not just a factory of radiant cores; it is an innovation center that is committed to the production of exchangers for marine environments and special applications. This approach, combined with a constant focus on technological improvement and staff training, ensures superior quality products and a fast and reliable response to customer needs.
